Alexei Nikolayevich Kalyuzhny (Belarusian: Аляксей Мікалаевіч Калюжны, Russian: Алексей Николаевич Калюжный) (born June 13, 1977 in Minsk, Byelorussian SSR, Soviet Union) is a Belarusian professional ice hockey forward. He currently plays for Avangard Omsk. He participated at the 2010 IIHF World Championship as a member of the Belarus National men's ice hockey team.[1]
He is recognized as a top forward in the Kontinental Hockey League.
He is a very dangerous player when near the goal area. [1]
